Notices, Signs and Signals
Notices, signs and signals are an important element of a safe workplace. They inform people entering various areas what they must and must not do. They also provide important information for rapid and safe responses to emergency situations.
Many signs are shared globally, but most countries will have published regulations or guidelines so that signs are commonly recognised across the regions. This enables workers to move from one factory to another and still be familiar with the graphics. Different signs also have different colours and shapes depending on the type of sign. Below are a few examples of each type of sign.
