Hop Jack
The hop jack, or montejus is a with a vessel sieve screen fitted inside used to remove hop material. As the vessel is stirred the spent hops do not form an effective filter bed so trub removal is relatively poor. Hop jacks have not been manufactured for decades but some may still be in use.
