This lesson considers gases and their behaviour, both on their own and as mixtures with other gases. It explores a series of gas laws which will then be used to describe the behaviour.
Preface
In this lesson, we will look specifically at gases, both solitary gases and mixtures of gases. We will then explore their behaviour when they are subjected to pressure and temperature.
Brewery gases
Gases literally surround us in the form of air which is composed of a mixture of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and some other minor components. In the brewery, we use a handful of common gases.
