Key Information about the Learning Material

After the unit introduction lesson, you will be presented with a teaching lesson. Each teaching lesson has a number of learning outcomes which are linked to the syllabus. Each lesson should on average, take no more than two hours to complete. To improve your online self-directed learning experience, there are several tools used which you will come across throughout the learning material. These tools each have their own purpose and are describe below.

Key point – This tool highlights a key fact, essential for success in the exam. This tool can also be used to summarise a key principle you should recall from previous learning.

Point of reflection – This tool allows you to pause and reflect on what you have just learned through a question and answer format.

Did you Know – This tool is used to inform you of an interesting fact which complements the learning.

Further Reading – This tool is used to provide you with a link to an external learning resource which aids the teaching lesson.
